Hi,
I used the search trying to see if anyone had that combo, but since the XP-120 is so popular I got a lot of results, I read a lot and have learn a lot, and im almost sure that this is the combo that I want to go with. But I just wanted to see if anyone had this exact combo and could help me by posting the following
Idle temp
Load temp
volt on the nexus (preferable 12v setting)
AMD64 (which amd you own)
Thanks for any info you can provide me,
Abula
Do anyone have AMD64 + Thermalright XP-120 + Nexus 120?

I have build a few systems with this setup. AMD64 3500+ with Nexus running at 12V. SLK3700-BQE case with 1 Nexus in front and 1 Nexus in back.
Consistent temperatures with all systems (room temp is 21C)
Idle CPU temp: 32-33C
Load temp: around 40C (see note below)
The XP120/Nexus combo is very quiet imho. However the system is not silent with those 2 case fans running at 12V.
Note: today I ran a few hours with 100% CPU load. The max. temp of the system was 49C (not 40C).

You can go wrong with the XP-120, AMD64, Nexus 120 combo. Unless you plan on some heavy overclocking in some really hot rooms, I don't think you need to worry. Seeing how you've found it so popular, it can't suck and have so many good reviews (besides, then what would my usual $.02 be worth? 2*10^-100 cents?). It might help if you read some of the posts on how to saw the corners off of the Nexus (search for 'em somewhere in the forums), otherwise have fun on your build!
But just to answer you questions, here's my rough data of my configuration:
Room at comfortable temp ~ 74ºF to 85ºF
CPU: 31ºC right now, load I've seen go up to about 47ºC even after running UT2K4 at max res with Winzip and Viruscan running in the background
MOBO: 47ºC
AMD64 3200+ 90nm winchester
@2010.3MHz
10X multiplier and HTT @201.0
VCore ~1.424
My fan is an Yate Loon "Nexus" from iSellerplus using the CPU motherboard header on my ASUS mobo, since the readings are messed up I'll leave them out.

It might be a very cool solution, but it is an expensive solution too. Where I live an XP-120 & Nexus 120mm costs €73.85 excl. shipping. An Arctic-Cooling Freezer 64 costs €27.99 excl. shipping.
Right this moment I have this cheap cooler on my A64 3000+. My system is running CPUburn with the case open. With the fan at ~600RPM it is very quiet (very soft clicking, that you probably won't hear with the case closed). The CPU (1791MHz;1.4V) is ~40°C and the room ~20°C.
I'm not saying the XP-120 is a bad choice. I have one myself in my P4 system, but IMHO it is overkill on a A64.
