hi

going to upgrade my rig.

considering either an abit heatpiped skt 939 mobo or the new asus a8n sli premium - wh9ich is best for overclocking?

now as for the cooler, im thinking either an xp-120 with a nexus or a freezer 64 (easier to install and much cheaper)

1. is it easy (and how do i) undervolt the fans on either of these hsf's

2. will an undervolted fan on either of these rigs be ok for a decent overclock.

3. what is the freezer 64 like @ stock sound and cooling performance wise.

i will also take any other suggestions for coolers.

First, search other forums for OC related stuff.
(like anandtech forums or ocforums)

1. Zalman fanmate, any type

2. You will never know until you try, but as a rule of thumb:
If your CPU doesn't overclock decently using the
stock cooler it's no good anyway. More exotic coolers can be
used to lower the fan speed and thus noise, but they rarely
improve overclockability that much.

3. Read the review on the main site.
