Are AMD temp sensors now moved to the core, or are they still on the mobo close to the CPU?
The reason that I`m asking is that I put together my 3000+/nfoce4 ultra system this weekend with a zalman 7000Cu and speedfan. When I set the target temp to 50deg.C (CPU) and 40de.C (everything else), the CPU fan halts completely and the CPU is hovering around 40-50degsC passively cooled! And this is even before I get CnQ running. Is it really that cool??

A64 processors have the temp sensor in the processor.

B.T.W. You didn't tell us if you see that temp if your system is: idling, doing light work or loaded to the max. So nobody can tell you if it is normal.
