Thermalright Ultra-90
Could the Thermalright Ultra-90 be used to passively cool a CPU?

Could someone please tell me if the HR-01 will work w/ Yonah (socket 479)? The HR-01-775 version is supposed to work w/ 478, and I thought these two were very similar.jmke wrote:for passive cooling the HR-01 would do better, not so tightly packed fins means airflow is better, the Ultra-90 is meant for active cooling.

my colleague reviewer used an XP-90C on his Yonah test setup here:

the S478 version of the HR-01 will fit without issue
