Will Scythe Ninja Rev. B fit in Gigabyte P35C-DS3R mobo?

The title says it all. I figured that Scythe Ninja rev. B would better suit my needs instead of Thermalright Ultra-120 extreme since I don't plan on overclocking.

I have a p35-ds3r and I had no problems fitting my ninja on it. I think the socket area of the p35c-ds3r is pretty much identical to the p35ds3r.

Do you think the ninja will work on a P35-DQ6?

Yes it does but only just. I fitted the revB to my P35-DQ6 mb. When I lined everything up before install there seemed to be plenty of room. However the Ninja heatpipes on one side ( facing back panel) just rested on the fins of the mb "crazy"heatpipe. The crazy heatpipe is not on the ds3p.
All intel thermal tests proved a good fit, with the temp rising from idle 30deg c to 100% 48 deg c.
If the figures had not been good I would have modded the fins on the mb so there was no touch but I wasn't going to mess with it as putting the ninja on is a days work getting everything out the case and back in again.Sorry no photos
Only other problem could be the fan mounting. It will only mount wholly on one side due to the mb heatpipes, but can be mounted on all sides with just a liitle overhang on top. This didn't affect me as I have a very different airflow setup and used the rear case fan in tandem with the scythe fan to put the fan about 1/4" from the Ninja. Shrouding would make it more efficient but not worth the effort to reduce good temps by a deg or so.
