Ninja on P35-DS3L - Anyone have pics?

Post by tehcrazybob » Fri Feb 15, 2008 1:35 pm

I've got a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L, and I'm looking at a Ninja. I know the heatsink itself will fit, but I've got some other plans regarding the voltage regulators and the chipset heatsink, and I'm not sure about those things. Does anyone have this setup, and if so would you mind taking a few pictures for me?

I'd just like three top-down shots: One lined up with the bottom edge so I can see where the chipset heatsink sits in relation to the Ninja, and one lined up with the top and back edges for similar comparisons.

Thanks!

The DS3L northbridge is smaller than DS3, so it should pose even less an interference problem.

The downside is cooling that smaller sink on the DS3L. The reviews say the NB runs very hot. I chose the Zipang down-draft cooler for this very reason... it blows air directly down on the NB sink on the DS3. Like most tower coolers, the Ninja is probably more efficient than the Zipang.
