HS recommendation for Silverstone GD04

Post by xnexus » Tue Dec 29, 2009 4:23 pm

Hi there,

The Silverstone GD04 case has a maximum CPU HS height of 70mm. I know a number of people have been able to fit the Silverstone NT01 heatsink in the case, but it doesn't seem to be easily available in Canada. Anyone have a reasonably priced lowish profile HS recommendation?

Thx

If you haven't checked these reviews already, check the prices of some of the heatsinks from SPCR's recent low profile LGA775 cooler reviews:

Some of these may be compatible with other CPU sockets as well.

Nexus Low is a little over 70mm, and, if it fits, that would be my first choice with a Yate-Loon 120mmx20mm replacement fan.

Other good choices would be the Shiruken and Big Shuriken (64mm).
