Noctua NH-D14 rotate?

Post by CoolColJ » Sun May 30, 2010 6:49 am

Can you rotate the Noctua NH-D14 so it faces up when installed in a P183 case?

I'm planning on building a positive pressure P183 system with the NH-D14
1 fan at the back, and 1 in front facing in

Depends on the socket. Intel is possible. AMD dont know.

Noctua FAQ for that HS say no AMD rotation. Yesterday I installed an NH-U12P SE2 rotated 90 degrees for a AM2+ socket in an Antec Solo. I had to use optional hardware that Noctua provides without charge after submission of JPGs showing proof of purchase of the HS and either an AMD cpu or MB. Shipping might take as long as three weeks. Apparently, there is no optional hardware for the NH-D14.
