HDT coolers between disappointment or miracle

Post by dev » Thu Jun 03, 2010 11:18 pm

My friend Ramiro has done it again. This should bust some myths and confirm others.

HDT arhitecture was one of the most controversial debate in the world of aircooling. poparamiro took the hotest cpu out there, the nuclear reactor called Nehalem and tried to elucidate the HDT comportament in a wide range of conditions, from fanless to extreme CFM, from 1.0volt to 1.6volts also in comparisson with solid base coolers.

Starring: the best HDT coolers (8 pcs.) + reference solid base coolers (4 pcs) + 2 entry-level watercoolers (Corsair H50 + CoolIT ECO ALC).

You're gonna nead some patience to read all of it !
