Haven't seen a post about this cooler in Cpu Cooling section...
With 45mm height,it resulted 70mm with 120x25mm fan.. or 57mm with 120x12mm fan, almost the same height with BS, but does look easier to be installed. Seems that its performance lies somewhere between AXP-140 & Big Shuriken..

Reviews:
Pc-experience : using 120x25mm Slipstream @700rpm in comparison with AXP-140, Big Shuriken, and Shuriken
Legion Hardware : using 120 x 12 Slipstream Slim @2000 rpm (what the heck.... :x ),
however, despite that the fast paced set up does not belong to anyone here, the review revealed that the tiny AC Freezer 7 LP could almost be on par with Big Shuriken when armed with the fan.

I'm actually interested in it, though in my tiny case I'm pretty sure it will hit either the top wall or the optical drive. Is there anyone who assembled or found pictures of it when mounted on a Zotac 9300 ITX?

It seems to be a good performer. The six heatpipes can move a lot of heat away from the core, but the dissipation area is very small. Which means you'll need a powerful fan. It is a very good contender for HTPC's.

It bolts on the mobo without a backplate, I wonder if that's a good thing...

The heatsink was meant for HTPC's, and they have the motherboard laying down. I don't see it as a problem.
