Is this the Papst 4412 FGL the best 12cm?

Post by boe » Sat Feb 14, 2004 8:02 am

Hello,

I've been scanning through the posts and it looks like this is the best from what I've read but I realize different manufacturers have new models on a regular basis. Is there anyone who would say there is something with more bang for $20 or so? My system doesn't run too hot so I won't need anything with more airflow than this one.

Thanks!!!

It's good - mine clicks a little at certain voltages...

From what I've read in these forums about other 12cm fans, I venture to recommend it as the best 12cm available despite its tendency to click.

Good fan thread

I've bought 4 papst 4412 and all of them start at 3.3V  It's rated between 7-14V though.

All of mine (many, many of them) have always started up nicely at 5V.
