SilentBlade 80 mm fan from GlacialTech

Post by glisoni » Fri Sep 17, 2004 12:17 am

Just bought this one and it looks promising: its rated 19 dba, 2000 rpm at 12 V. Looks nice also: blue transparent plastics, molex adaptor, price here in Serbia is some 4 EUR.
Noise is virtually inaudiable, only moving air can be heard and only from 20-30 cm distance. Comparing to my TT Smartfan 2 @ 3000 rpm (at Volcano 9), it is dead silent.

I just might by 3 more and replace all my case and psu fans.

If anyone is interested, I could post pics.

edit: just checked the box, it claims 25.2 CFM and 1700 rpm +-10% at 12 V. My NF7-S reads 2000 rpm. Pics are coming soon. Another thing, fan has 9 wings, comparing to usualy 7.
