One great thing about this fan is well it performs in higher restrictive environments compared to other 25mm fans. The 4412 has been unavailable in the US maket, as far as I know, since Directron stopped carring the line. And unlike Directron's old stock, this version of the 4412 has RPM signal output.
FG, I'm getting the poll started over at ProCooling now with a reference link to this one. The 4412 is a great fan and I'm sure there are many out there who would like to get their hands on some.
Edit: Link to the ProCooling poll

Is that the difference between the 4412F/2GL and the 4412FGL?
I purchased a 4412FGL from Directron a few months ago, and it has the large 4-pin molex connector instead of the small 3-pin fan connector. No problems starting w/ 5v mod, very quiet, doesn't feel like it moves much air.
I don't know if I'll need another 120 or not.

QuietPC.com will offer 4412F/2GL's in ~ 6 wks
I spoke with Steve at www.QuietPC.com today and he will be receiving a new shipment in about 6 wks that will have a number of papst fans including the 4412F/2GL's. Prices are up in the air at the moment, but quantity talks. You can speak directly to Dave or Steve about cost.
They will also be receiving a new fan from acoustiproducts called the dustproof. It looks like a nexus competitor with a higher top speed. http://www.acoustiproducts.com/en/acoustifan.asp#AFDP. It has a sealed motor. That's interesting. My globe doesn't have a sealed motor. It should be available in about 6 weeks. - FG
