There is a regular at the comtrader swap meets in melbourne that sells black D12SM-12 fans for AU$10. No RPM monitoring though.

The next local comtrader market is not until the 26th June. I will see what I can do. I only bought one of these but I am very happy with it. It will quite happily start and run at 3V.

Thanks for the heads-up on the aerocool turbines at coolpc. I am not aware of these fans. Is there any reviews or info around on these?

Lou, you can read about the fan here: http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?t=21159

got mine today, pretty happy with it, slow it down to 750rpm from stock 950rpm is very, very quiet. and it looks great, too.

Apologies for the satellite delay, I've been away, so I missed my local meet. For all the dates and sites see http://www.comtrader.com.au/swap/dates.php3

Popped down the Malvern swap meet today and picked up a D12SM-12. Thanks Lou Sid for the heads up. Haven't tried it yet, so can't post any comments on it (been working all day), but did manage to get a business card off the guy, for those of you who may be interested:

Hope that helps. Aim to post some thoughts on this fan soon, though am still a bit new to all this and need to get my head around undervolting :?.
