Sunbeam Rheobus: http://www.thetechlounge.com/review.php ... am_rheobus

Btw, you can remove the leds, if you want to, but i find them useful because it shows me where the 7v limit is (it turns from red to blue).

ps: and yes, it fits behind the 3000B door. :)
pss: it isn't a PWN device, it doesn't get hot (or even warm for that matter) and makes no noise...

I'm in a similar boat right now, looking for a fan controller to fit an Antec 3700-AMB.. I've got a crappy thermaltake one, 2 knobs, and I had to cut them down to make them fit.

The main concern as well as knob depth (hehe) is the bracket support. The 3700 only allows you to screw in one side of the bay, so if it doesn't have any rear support (such as the Aerogate mentioned), it won't fit in very well.

Does anyone else have any suggestions and experiences with fan controllers and the 3x00 series Antec cases?

I recommend Vantec: NXP-205-SL Nexus 3.5'' Silver Fan Controller.

Don't be fooled by the vantec brand. It's good. They have a 5.25" bay version that runs for a little more. There's a black version as well. The control knobs are backlit by a blue LED. Simple and clean...and works very well.

Here's the part I don't get; the 205 (3.5" version) has a long support piece out the back, but the 201 (5.25" version) doesn't. Damn them.

I like the look of the 201, but I don't think it'd stay in place on the 3700 without bolting on to the other side.... Might have to remove those rivets. :)

lo gr8r-x, i have the same problem with the 3000, if it doesnt have the extension just attaching the small front foot print to the drive rail things in the 3000 dont work, it doesnt seem to make the rails rigid enough to grip and hold into place :(

i really do like the sunbeams but no success locating them over here in the uk as yet :(
