The model number is the same, and the operating voltages are the same, but the dB isn't listed for the Yate loon, which is considerably cheaper. Am I getting the same fan for $7 less if I buy the Yate loon?

the Nexus fan is a Yate-Loon fan with an inline resistor so that the Nexus spins at 1000rpm while the yate-loon spins at 1350rpm.
the yate-loon is slightly louder, but pushes more air. The yate-loon also ramps down very well, so if you use a fan controller you can make it effectively silent.

Thanks. Think I'll go with the Yate Loon. My motherboard has the uguru panel for fan control, so that should work well. :)
