92mm fan suggestions for my xp-90
system specs:
P180 w/ all stocks fans on low & CoolerMaster SUF-S12 added as intake
6600GT w/ loud ass stock fan (will be replaced with VF700-CU later)
3500+ New Castle w/ XP-90 currently fanless
what 92mm fans will give me the most airflow possible at 25db max? also is it best to have the fan pushing air onto the heatsink or sucking air from the heatsink?
thanks,
Sorry about the confusion, I mean't at stock volts (12V), w/o any undervolting.

The guy is asking for the fan that blows the most CFM at low voltage, remaining under 25db.
Nexus isn't it....or Yate Loon either. At 5v these two fans have a pathetic CFM.
Check this thread. I'd guess that with the exception of the Deltas, any fan in that list blows more CFM than the Yate Loons...and is still under 25db at 5V.

This fan has some impressive numbers. I am wondering if they are actually true?frankgehry wrote:1) JMC 9025-12L

The JMC has the lowest top speed of the fans I listed, and perhaps the lowest cfm? I have all three and remember them as being very similar in noise, but you can't really go by mfg. specs, although top speeds are usually accurate. The noise ratings are suspect, but the JMCs are industrial fans that happen to be quiet. They are just not advertised like nexus and silenx. - FG
