So now they'll be able rip us off doubly with a monopoly in two silent products? Cool!

Be interesting to see if Nexus releases the same fan as used in its latest Case. Same fan just runs higher RPM...around 1500 from memory. Would be to compete with the Scythe SFF21F perhaps??
I have two of these fans on the way (Scythe) I'll post up how they go.

I don't know why folks are so enthusiastic about Nexus fans. The Yate-Loons are just a good, just as quiet, and cost 1/3 the amount.

Where are you getting Yate Loons in Australia then?
BTW I don't have a Nexus either. I'm perfectly happy with my $9 Glacialtechs

That is most certainly
not an absolute. Some may be, but there's no guarantee.

There's no guarantee with Nexus either (or any fan come to that) and with the Yate Loons their low price allows several to be bought and the best ones cherry-picked (although that is usually unnecessary). Both of the fans in my current rig are YL (one hacked out of an old PSU) and they're virtually inaudible (both at lowest fanmate setting). My 80mm Nexus vibrates a lot more than my 80mm YL. I'm not knocking Nexus, just places where Yate Loons are cheap and good quality, they are a sensible option.
However, for places where shipping costs can form a large portion of the total price (like Australia) the YL price advantage is eroded.

I'm fairly certain Silencio on Ebay ships to Oz, but the shipping costs might be a bit hefty.
