Did mcubed-tech.com go out of business?

Post by Brolic247 » Sat Apr 29, 2006 2:42 pm

I recently emailed Mcubed to ask why you can't order any T-balancers from their website. They replied that the T-balancer XL was at end of life and that in the next 2 weeks they would be releasing a next gen T-Balancer that was a big version of the MiniNG. Its been a month since they said that and now their website is down.

Anyone know anythinng about this?

interesting, I had just bought a mCubed T-balancer for $40 ( 8) off someone) and now they're coming out with another version...hmmmm, it better not have PWM as the only fan output....

They are still alive... The North America distributor is www.elgo-tech.com and they have everything in stock. As far as I know the replacement will not be available for a while. I just bought two of those T Balancers from them. Thanks... :D

Thanks, I jumped to conclusions too fast when I couldn't log in to their website.

I'm dyin' to pick up 2 more t-balancers, but I'm wondering if I should hold out for the new version. I also got an email from them saying that there were no more supplies of the t-balancer until the new one comes out. If I could pick up some t-balancers cheap-like, I'd do it in a second....but USA distributors are practically non-existent.

The next gen T-balancer has just been released, the BigNg. If anybody has links to reviews or opinions on it please chime in. I might buy one of these if it has good reviews.

Hmmm..that does sound good. Analog OR pwn. That's new to me.

I'm pleased it comes standard with so many sensors.

Now, of course, the BIG question....where does a poor yokel in the states get one??

I really don't think the bigNG is a new t-Balancer....it is capable of working with a T-Balancer using an interface cable, or it can work by itself, just like a miniNG.

Buy the thing direct from M-Cubed in Austria.....Standard shipping is cheap, and took only ten days from Austria to St Louis, Missouri, USA.

The t-balancer bigNG has all the features of the original plus some new ones. It has a 3.5" bay mounting option as well as the original configurations, 4 channels, digital and analog sensors, etc..

I was definitely under the impression that this was a replacement for the t-balancer, which they've stopped making. It's true, with that name, it sounds like an upgrade to the miniNG. But I emailed mcubed asking them how to get my hands on a tbalancer because they weren't available anywhere, and they said they'd stopped making them because this new product was coming out (I don't think they mentioned the product by name, so perhaps there is a new tbalancer coming out too??).

If the bigNG only can be programmed by use of a tbalancer, and they've stopped making those.....
