Very useful.....this might help out in determining what part of your board a particular sensor reading applies to. The CPU sensor is easy to figure out, but not the other sensors. What does "system" temperature really mean...... :lol:

Interesting article indeed. That's about the only page discussing where various temperature sensors are for Intel's boards. But, for anything other than Intel, the "System" temperature could mean anything or measured anywhere, especially if there isn't an internal temperature sensor in the motherboard's sensor chip (the one that reads fan speeds and reports various temperatures and voltages). It may be helpful to use a can of compressed air to find the "System" temperature sensor. By spraying a chip or other IC that might be the sensor, you should see the "System" temperature drop. When you spray the component that drops the reading you have found the sensor.
