Post by goose_wh » Tue May 06, 2003 7:22 am

Im going to be installing a panaflo L1A 80mm & Papst 3412L into my case shortly. I intend to use thesehttp://www.kustompcs.co.uk/product.php? ... 8cf6cf919a or http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/product.php?view=2403 these isolators.
Which ones will i need for my fans
& what diameter will i need to drill in my case for them?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

I think for the 80mm fans, you will want the FM44. The FM44 is the same size as the isolators I used on my 80mm fans in my case. I could be wrong, but the FM35 looks like it is designed for smaller fans.

I believe the part of the isolator that goes through the hole in your case is .173" or 4.4mm, so a 3/16" (.1875") hole should give you a good fit.
