Check it out These 92mm are available in two speeds....cheaper than the S-Flex series, I hope. There are other sizes also available. Nice to see some real competition in this 92mm size.

Unfortunately, the support struts are nearly parallel with the trailing edge of the blades.

Neil.....I've given up trying to judge a fan by how it looks, and by the hype. My experiments with the Noctua fan proved to me that you need to hear and try out a particular fan, before you pass judgment.

This 92mm fan looks good to me, but until I hear one, try it out in a case, or read a trustworthy review, I can only guess about it.

It's seriously about time they got these over here in America. I've always read that they were some of the best 92mm fans, but somehow they were just empty from the Scythe lineup in NA.

I know the 2 Nexuses on the front of my Solo are going to get replaced by these.

I noticed this new fan is available now where I live. According to the Scythe website it's got the same S-FD bearing as the S-FLEX, which gives it a MTBF of 120.000 hours versus 30.000 hours for the Slip Stream.

This makes me doubt between the Slip Stream 800 rpm and Kama FLEX 1000 rpm (the 120 mm one). Where I want to buy it the Slip Stream is â‚¬ 7 while the Kama FLEX is â‚¬ 10,71. Does anybody have an idea which would be better?

I also wonder why the Slip Stream hasn't been reviewed by SPCR yet, of course it got covered in the Ninja Copper review and it has been recommended here on the forums, but I'd hope to see a recent fan comparison which would also include the Kama Flex and the Noctua P12 (the last one is a year and a half old) and it's placement in the recommended fans.

Bluefront, I just posted a review of the 92mm Kama Flex in the User Review forum. Looks darn good! I also got an 80mm version from JabTech, so I'll post an 80mm review soon (see if I got lucky twice).

Have you reviewed the 80mm KAMA FLEX by chance yet? Is this the same 80mm fan that is on the recommended list, which is called the KAMA FLOW?

If you ever looked for my reviews in the User Reviews forum (hint: look for 80mm fan reviews), you'd know the answer to your first question. I believe the Kama Flex is new, with newly designed bearings, but have no direct inside knowledge.

hi. Apologies for digging this thread. Wish to ask, in what ways is the 120mm kama-flex inferior to s-flex? If i'm not wrong, kama-flex is slightly cheaper. Any reason to go for s-flex? Thanks.

S-flex have very robust fluid dynamic bearings, giving it increased MBTF... That's pretty much about it. Just difference in bearings...

Put it this way, I hear no ticking or hissing from my SFF21Fs a good year or so after I purchased them. The Nexus fans are ok, but the bearings are far noisier, the minimum noise level is about how they run at 9-10V, versus 4-5V for the Scythes.
