Looks nice but 1000RPM might be a bit loud for the slowest fan. I say await review before buying anything.

Its not a €20 000 car so why not order one and try it out?

They look like rebanded Scythe S-flex's if you look close. They use also the Fluid Dynamic Bearing Technology. I was under the impression that Scythe S-flex's where made by sony. The 1000 rpm would be nice if there anything like the Scythe S-flex.

I second that. Those are almost certainly the same fan as Scythe S-Flexes. Hub size identical, fins look identical. Identical design right down to the rib running round the frame.

:D These are now available at Sidewinder Computers. I'm so tempted give the 1000 RPM version try since these appear to be nothing more then rebraned Scythe S-flex. the 1000 RPM version should be the sweet spot and I prefer the Fluid Dynamic Bearing Technology of the Scythe S-flex over the sleeve bearings used in most all quiet fans. Any one esle try them yet?

Sony owns the patent & technology that's why they're called S-FDB = Sony-Fluid Dynamic Bearing

But the Thermalright MTBF is 60,000 hours, while the Scythe S-FLEX MTBF is 150,000 :?
