Replaced my stock fan (Adda) in the Antec EW380 with the Noctua NR-R8. Lovely lovely...gone is the noise.

Hi, looks familiar, I swapped NF-R8 in to an Antec PSU too. In my case a NeoHE 430, I conneted the PSU fan to the internal fan header so the PSU still controls the fan speed. Also kept the fan speed monitoring and routed the wire for it out with the main ATX wires.
You can see what I did here.

On the EA380, is there any space at all between the fan and the PSU PCB? The stock fan is 15mm deep to the Noctua's 25mm, isn't it?
