Vizo Super Muffler

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone has had experience with this fan? I believe it has the same magnetic bearing idea that drives the enermax marathon enlobal but it doesn't have clear plastic and it does has oil in the bearing which are the two things Mike mentions are wrong with the enermax in fan roundup 2.

Thanks in advance,
Chris.

Hi Chris,

Looking at the specs and the pictures on NewEgg:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835425012

The RPM's look to be quite high, and this makes it unlikely to be a quiet fan. The trailing edges of the blades are virtually parallel with the support struts, and this will cause more turbulence noise. The shape of the blades is pretty sharp cornered, and that also means a bit more noise, than if they were rounded.

It might be quiet, but the chances are not that good that it will be.
