Nexus 80mm is the only 80mm fans i use. Though i havnt used one in forever as i try to use 120mm and then 92mm fans wherever possible.

Try here. Same fan, different store. Shipping will probably be higher, though.

ya i was really likin the fact i could get the fan for 6 bucks and change shipped at svc.... i emaild them to see if they were gonna get it back in.

EDIT... ima try and grease up the bearings currently in the 80mm fan in the psu with some white lithium grease to see if that quiets it down.

EDIT2 ... repacked the bearings with some white lithium grease... no more bearing noise :D for the time beaing... hopfully it lasts.

It depends for me on the application. If it's the CPU fan, I am willing to sacrifice a bit of speed for reliability and therefore chose FDB fans.(Fluid Bearing).

ya this 80mm is in a PSU in my server thats on 24/7... i replaced it with its current fan a while back... an 80mm ADDA dual ball bearing low speed fan... its like the perfect fan. Like i said i repacked the bearings with some white lithium grease... works like a charm now... no more bearing noise.

Hi,

The GlobalWin NCB fans have ceramic bearings that should last a very long time in hot environments. They are mentioned and linked in the other thread I listed above.
