Might be beneficial for highly restrictive heatsink or server chassis cooling. Not likely to be that quiet considering the clear plastic.

Scythe flex vs ultra kaze has don't really make much of a HUG diff despite the big rpm diff and static pressure temp wise. These fans will probably move more air than possibly a ultra kaze, but they might be way louder and only cool a tad better. It gets to a point of diminishing returns cause all u can do is come close to your room temp.

It is interesting how the metal fan guard holds the hub and frame together instead of the usual plastic arms. I'm not sure if there is more area being blocked or less.

Might be beneficial for a filtered air intake with the extra static pressure. I'd be interested to hear how the 1200rpm one sounds when slowed down with a fanmate.
