Fried Fan PWM?
Well, this is sort of a short question but I was wondering if it was possible to 'burn' out PWM fans. Have an enermax cluster 120mm and I somehow reveresed the +/- leads and shorted it somehow, now, the lights turn on but the fans kaput. Also have a 120mm scythe slipstream that I have a feeling I burned out the fan monitoring for...or maybe I just set up my mobo wrong. Anybody else have a problem like this or know how to fix it or is it a non-issue since fans aren't technically supposed to be altered?
