Silverstone Air Penetrator

I just saw these fans and they sound interesting, so it would be great to see an evaluation of them by someone who knows what they're doing sometime.

They sure do!
I just found out about them as well. Here are some interesting URLs about them...

Silverstone demonstration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8m8fC809TK0
Watch a baloon test from 01:50: http://tv.hexus.net/show/2010/03/CeBIT_ ... stone_SG07
A YouTube unboxing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWJKrd3eZXs
Review of the 180mm version vs the stock Fortress FT02 fan: http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?o ... mitstart=5

Page 6 of 7 in that review got the most interesting scenario in my opinion, since im also somewhat interested in getting that case or a RV02.

It would be fun to see if they can place on the SPCR recommended fan list! :)

Thanks for the links.

It'll be interesting to find out whether the focused airflow from these fans makes them less suitable for general intake use, where you probably want the airflow quite widely spread to cool as much of the motherboard/graphics card as possible.
