easiest way to attach fan to the system?

Post by Dr. Smith » Mon Aug 04, 2003 3:26 pm

I've got some fans w/ bare leads that I would like to connect to 4 pin full size connectors....what the easiest (and still being safe...don't want the lead to fall out and short something) way to do this?

Thanks

Buy yourself the correct crimp-on terminals and 4-pin molex connectors. I buy mine at Fry's but you can get them online at Digikey.com and other places.

Or, you could just solder the wire to the pin terminal.
It will be a bit more fragile, but I doubt you would notice
the difference inside a computer.
