Scythe Ninja and a 4U rackmount chassis

Post by matt120 » Thu Oct 12, 2006 2:21 am

Hi guys

Just wondering of anyone could confirm if the Scythe Ninja will fit in a 4U case such as the Antec Take 4, I think it will but it may be tight.

Any views would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Matt

I'd be interested to know how this goes. I have a Take 4 and am planning to put my next server in it.

I'm probably gonna get an Asus P5B of some description but didn't think the ninja would fit so will wait for all the parts to arrive and see how much space was available once everything is in place.

matt, not sure if you progressed any further on this. I've just got my motherboard (bad axe 2) and CPU (e6600) for my antec take 4.

With the cpu and mobo in place there is a little under 150mm between the cpu and top of the case. That rules out the ninja and many other HSFs. I'm currently looking a the other options. Let us know if you came up with any

A Thermalright XP-120 or SI-128 would fit.
