Does anyone know where I can find metal drive covers that have holes in them for ventilation?
I considered getting some modder's mesh, but they're out of stock again... and I'd also rather not have to deal with cutting and shaping the mesh myself if I can avoid it.

Are you talking about the EMI bay covers that usually go under the plastic cosmetic blank covers? If so, try anyplace that builds or upgrades PC's to order, they will probably have tons of them as they tend to be a big 'throw away' item when building systems.
However if you have an existing cover, you should bring it along as a sample, the things are kind of semi-custom with every mfgr using a different design. Unless you luck out, it is likely that you will get something that is close, but may need some modding to make it fit. The sample will help you get a better match.
(BTW, many of those covers will be solid, it costs less to make them that way, and is better for shielding. However there is nothing to stop you from modding them further to meet your needs.)
