Undervolt Program

Hey all... this is my first post here, so I apologize if I repeat something that has already been done. However, I looked through the posts and couldn't find a post about this so I thought I'd post it.

Its a battery optimization guide but it details instructions (on Page 2) about how to undervolt the CPU. I tried this on my Compaq Presario V2000 and scraped by on very low voltage. As a result, I would virtually never hear the fan (maybe once every two weeks), despite keeping the thing running for hours and hours. Not to mention that I also followed the guide on that site about the Laptop Overclocking. I had the computer simultaneously overclocked from a 1.5 to a 1.8 Ghz and undervolted at least 40% less than the factory settings. I highly suggest you at least try out the undervolt...
