Happy as akid in a Quiet candy store... My new fans XP90 and S12-500 came in today b4 i go hog wild and tear my PC apart just wondering About the Fan guard on the PSU.. should i take it out? it dosent seem restrictive but i see alot of pic with peeps who take it out of there PSU?

Those common silver wire grills aren't restrictive. If you take one and try to fan yourself with it, it doesn't move any air. The difference is probably negligible. However, it does make you feel more like a pro if you remove it...

Don't take it out if your system satisfies you as is. Unnecessary voiding of the warranty and lost EMI shielding.

If the fan guard is your only concern at this point and not the fact that the fan on these s12-500's is now ball bearing based... thats the least of your worries.

Why void a VERY nice 3 yr warranty for mere vanity? Seasonic is great when it comes to handling RMAs. Keep the fan guard and better spend the time upgrading your PC with those well deserved parts.
