I'd do more reading but I'm in a bit of a rush to get them (a tad urgent), so please forgive me.
1) Is http://store.yahoo.com/pctekonline/8cmcasefan.html still a reliable source for the 80mm? What appears to be the main Yate Loon thread had issues with the 120mm, but didn't mention much about the 80mm version.
2) Is this the "medium" 80mm Yate Loon?
3)If the medium is slightly louder but pushes more air than the panaflo L1A, how quiet/powerful is the low model?
4) Unrelated to the Yate Loons, where can I get fan plugs that can "piggy back" off of molex connectors (ie, so the molex connector can still be used for something else besides just the fan, like a hard drive)? Would B&M places like Fry's have them?
Something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835999104, but I'd rather not pay $5 shipping for something that's $2.
Thanks for the help.
where to get Yate Loon 80mm (north america)?

Those are D80SM-12's. I have D80SL-12's, and find them very quiet.canadacomputers sell it 80mm yates with LED for 9.99
I'm not surprised, at 12V it's going at 2200rpms!bought one, at 12v its like a hair dryer
Less noise = slower fan = pushes less air. There's no way to defy the laws of physics.running it at 7v is fine, but pushes so little air

I had a few Yate Loon 80mm come my way in 2000-2001 vintage power supplies, one (D80SM-12) was sounding worse than a vacuum when I got it, and I wasn't even a silent PC enthusiast then. The D80BM-12 in another PSU is still good, but I'll swap it for a NMB-MAT thermal control, since there's no TC in the PSU.
Get it from Silencio on ebay (i forgot his exact ebay username). And he is also a regular on the board.
Yes he is from Germany, but his shipping prices are surprisingly cheap to US and I received my items from him within a weeks time. I ordered the 80mm Yateloon from him (as well as some verax sticks) and was very happy with it. They were the "L" low model 80mm.

His US store is:

I've just ordered an 80mm (the L version) from him for a PSU replacement. Certainly cheap within Europe, that's for sure.
