My Scythe Mine measures 150.4mm high to the top of the heat-pipe caps, but only 137.7mm to the top of the 100mm fan.
If you substitute a 120mm fan such as the GW NCB, the height goes to 157.7mm. However (good news) the fan does not have to be centered horizontally. The position can be fudged away from the PSU and toward the NB without any problem. Good news because on some mobos the Mine will be sitting very close to the PSU.
Trivia fans: the Mine is actually 3.8mm higher than the Ninja (fan not included).

I will when I get it running, Andy. It just came in yesterday afternoon. So far I've done a test mount on two mobos and performed a judicious fix (reported in another topic). I'm still applying damping to the case for the new build, and probably won't be up and running for a while yet.andyb wrote:BTW Felger can you let us know your setup + fan type, speed, and temps plz.
While the measurements say this thing is Ninja size, the impression is that it's smaller. Can't explain that.
Vastly easier than the Ninja to mount a fan!
