Themaltake Silent Water - Potential Quite/flexible solution?

I see where this product is available for about the same price as a Ninja Plus ($50) and was wondering if anyone has used one before.

I like the idea that the radiator/fan could be mounted on the outside of the case which would remove the heat generated by the CPU from the case with a rather small device inside and small hoses running outside. Its seems like this product could be be used outside of a variety of cases making it a more universal/long term cooling solution.

Does anyone know how quite this really is?
I have not worked with water coolers before what concerns are there about it leaking or failing?
