My [gaming] rig with some crappy pictures

Post by TheBuzzer » Mon Feb 12, 2007 3:03 am

My new computer I made this month:
The ram I got was slow I guess because vista rating system gave it a 5.1 out of 5.9 while the rest of the parts got the 5.9 rating.

I overclocked my computer using the AI Overclock default profiles so the cpu is clocked at 3.0 ghz while the ram went to 843 mhz.

The ram still got a rating of 5.8 and not 5.9 but that is good enough I guess.

Here is what I got:

Case: Antec P180B
Mobo: ASUS P5W
GFX: EVGA 8800GTX
Ram: Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 800 Dual Channel
PSU: Corsair 620HX
CPU: Intel Q6600
Prim HD: WD Raptor 150GB
Sec HD: Seagate 750GB
DVD: NEC 18X DVD Burner
Sound Card: X-Fi XtremeGamer 7.1
Termal Paste: Arctic Silver 5
Heatsink: Scythe Ninja

Old External:
WD 320 gb

Here is a picture of the vista rating stuff:

P180B is quiet but the top fan makes clicking noise sometimes :/
I can still hear it but it is quiet than normal pcs.

If music or tv on u cant even hear it.

Even with the case open it is quiet :)

Is your case an updated Antec P180B? It looks like it has a raised motherboard panel and cable management holes like the new P182.

no clue is it updated

but it did come in a P180B box

I guess it is the updated version because I do have the 2 fan control on the back for the top and rear fan and the black water cooling holes

Yeah, you got P182. Nice for you, the cabling is so much easier with it.

That is really strange, because the P182 is supposed to come in a new color, which is a dark gray rather than black. It looks like you got a 180b that has the features of the new 182...
