Not to thread crap but ECS rma department is horrible. My ECS 8800GT died on me and their RMA department is absolutely unresponsive. I finally got RMA number, it's been 5 weeks already since my card has died on me. I assume by the time I'll get my card back it will be nearly two months.

I got tempted by cheap ECS card with S1 cooler preinstalled. If I could go back in time, I'd pay a little more and pick a better brand that has proper RMA department.

That’s useful information as I for one don’t buy on price alone and I’ve have had no experience of ECS to report. Any idea if your experience is typical?

Seems fairly typical.

Quick google search turns out this, read the second post, it more or less describes my experience, except I just fedex'ed my card to them, it should be arriving to ecs next week. I'll write detailed experience in the Consumer Advocacy forum after I get replacement card back (if I actually receive it, hopefully they won't deny warranty for some BS reason).

EDIT, here's another thread

http://www.overclock.net/amd-motherboar ... aaack.html

In the previous link guy had to wait 3 weeks before ECS denied his warranty. In the above link they waited 4 months to ship replacement motherboard. If things go like this by the time when I get my card back GT200 will be nearly out...
