Argh. And I just bought the silent ECS 9600GT for $150. Is it worth the 15% restocking fee though?

Use the latest official driver (175.16) from NVIDIA's Web site, not the driver from the CD.The ECS 8800GT arrived yesterday and today I installed the card. First diasppointment was one of the clips that holds the heat sink to the card fell off in the bag, not a good sign of quality control. I was able to put the clip on.
The next shocker was temperature of this card in my system is around 7C hotter at idle than my ECS 9600GT, which did surprise me. I figured the temperature would be a few degrees Celcius higher, but I was not prepared for 7-8C higher. While idling at around 52C is not a big deal, I do have the central air running all day today because it's around 90F outside. So, I imagine on a pleasantly warm day of perhaps around 75F outside, the 8800GT would idle at a higher temperature than now--I don't run the central air when it's 75F outside, unless it's very humid.
Of course, there are those two little fans included with the Accelero S1, but I am not interested in that scenario.
Bottom line for me at this point is undecided if the card stays.
