Cooler Master advertises their use of small copper plates on the heatsinks as a means of increasing heat dissipation, since copper transfers heat faster than aluminum. Aluminum still dissipates the heat faster to the surrounding air, which is one reason the whole cooler isn't made of copper.

Yes really promising, although higher temperatures than others this should be about as quiet as Enemax Pro/Modu82 or better. I hope CM have the the guts to send it to SPCR for some hardcore testing.

The title should read "Cooler Master", not "Corsair Master".

Agreed on the al/cu issue. But the PSU's results are impressive nonetheless.

As for the title... I need to stop posting before coffee!

if the aluminium is anodized then the statement isn't totally false (higher emissivity). however the cost advantage of aluminium is the more likely reason for its widespread use.
