What wallpaper do you use?

I just thought it might be interesting to see what fellow SPCRs use as the desktop wallpaper.

Post 'em up.

I've been using this lately. It's set up as an Active Desktop. Both the clouds and the terminator are synced to the time and move in 5 minute increments.

I generally dislike "My desktop. Let me show you it." topics, so I won't share mine, but I'll mention two things that many (most? all?!) of you probably don't know about:

www.samurize.com - the ultimate desktop thingy for people with too much spare time (yes, it has native support for everyone's darling, Speedfan, plus a ton of other goodies)

www.interfacelift.com - if you need a wallpaper, you'll find it here

interfacelift is good, and deviantart is also a good resource.
I get my dual monitor wallpapers from deviantart.

I like Ryan's wallpapers in Digitalblasphemy. My current one is this:

I used to swap them every week or so, but currently I have 1920x1200 pixels of "Blue".

Dare I say it, macdesktops.com have heaps of nice pics, the best Mac thing ever as far as I am concerned.

I used to use digitalblasphemy...

But I go with a plain bark blue now, with almost 60 files and shortcuts.

I found that I had to move icons that became one with the background, a single colour is perfect for me, with 20+ icons. Other than the plain background I often find on my screen (not of my doing) a hideously stretched very low resolution LOLcat - not that I complain.

Dummy posting

Post by Kimmeridgien » Sun Nov 16, 2008 5:48 am

Sorry for this posting. Apparently a user can't include images in his very first posting, so I had to create a dummy posting before I can post the real one. Sorry for the disturbance.
