The 10 to 100 Million+ Points PLUS club, All are welcome..
I can't start a new thread every million points, I would need a new thread every 2 weeks, so we will lump them all here. This will be a busy thread.
Starting with
14 MILLION
Wow!

thanks!
Thanks everyone, I appreciate it! Yeah, the spikes are because of bigadv folding, I now have two machines doing that, so there should be more spikes coming. One of these days I'm going to update the thread with my setup described in it, I should be dropping down to just 5 machines sometime soon, so that'll be cool, in a very real and literal way. But thanks again!

thanks!
Thanks everyone! I like the dashes, that's cool. I've actually cut back to 4 machines folding, and only one of those is gpu folding, so I'm only expecting to be around 2 million a month. I've been working on a case mod for a while, haven't been buying too much stuff (although I just saw a sale at a local place, should post that). And I've decided to start looking for a house, so that may pull some time away from folding, but I'll try to keep the machines going. Thanks again!
thanks!
Thanks again! I've had everything except my huge system going at full blast for a week or so now, and since my reinstall on the big system I'm still having some samba issues, but once I get those sorted out, I'll probably scale back again. Well, and once I get some sides built for my custom case. See you again at big 20!

thanks!
Thanks KK! But you know, it occurs to me that with all the kudos to me here, other people are getting a little slighted. I mean, cd8uk just passed 12 million, Aristide1 got past 11 million a little while back, hell KK, you're pretty close to 11 million yourself. But then we'd be back to starting a new thread for every million, which is what this thread was intended to avoid. Any ideas? Should we just change this to the 11-20 million thread or something?

you know, i had that same thought this weekend.
these threads were started to encourage people to contribute, and to boost resolve to continue. too much recognition of one person kinda takes away from the folks who aren't running as fast, but may be more consistent. i mean, look at neil. still folding away after all this time. i would argue that it's more important to support consistency (or rather, not to distract from that concept by focusing on the leaders' pack) for the good of the team and the project. i think aristide has done the best job over time by posting the million point congratulations for the newer or slower folders. that's probably made more of a difference overall than me buying a new mobo and processor, ya know?
i'm happy to recognize the bigger folders every few million, rather than every million. the smaller folders would probably benefit from recognition that is less spaced out.

good points
Yeah, you're probably right. So can Aristide change the thread title? Should we take it even further, and consolidate some of the million threads into something like 1-5 million, 6-10 million? Maybe hit the 100,000x threads more often? I'm all for finding ways to get more people involved and into it.
