The window is in!

I can definately notice its quieter with the plexiglass on. Also temps went down (probably because it can get a underpressure now).

My temps are now the same as without a window but i run my fans on 500-600RPM instead of 800 Rpm.

Now i need to get a 4pin extender and some lightning. Im on a hunt for some cheap white led strips. I already bought a switch backplate from an broken CCFL kit (i dont trust CCFL's anymore after what happened to the pc of a friend).

Upgrade!
I upgraded my video card. I bought a used ATi Radeon 5770. Now i need to make it more silent. Im thinking about a Accelero S1 (its a non-reference card) and there are some experiments on SPCR that show that the card is usable passive.

Oh and btw. Its a MSI R5770 PM1DG or something like that. Its a 1GB Radeon 5770 :)

Oh, and i got bored so i played a bit with my camera and photoshop.

Well, long time no see but i bought something last weekend (now its a wait till next weekend before i have it).

I purchased a:
- Accelero S1 rev 2 for on my 5770 (its a non-reference card so it fits)
- Western Digital Green WD20EARS (10 gb more and my 640GB drive is filled up)

What i hope to do with these things is
- Silence up my GPU
- Have reasonable performance on lanparties (my shared files are also on the 640GB drive and when everybody is getting stuff off my drive its slowing down my whole pc, now the shared files are on my WD Green).

Also, im thinking about some mods on my cpu cooler (just some lights and stuff. no silencing mods). Also my plans are to get some Scythe Quiet Drives or something to silence up my harddisks).

Update
Got the WD Green a while back from RMA. This time it works and goes quite fast for a 5400RPM inaudible drive :)

This was when moving files from my WD 640GB WD6400AAKS to my WD20EARS. And it isnt a peak but a speed which was constant.

I hope to mount my Accelero soon. But im quite busy with school.

It looks very nice; but it does also work really good.

Before:
Idle: 43
Load: 80

After:
Before: 35
Load: 60

And all that with no noise increase :) Lovely.

Nice
2 things :
- reduce the size of the pics a bit, it'll be easier to view by other forum users.
- me thinks I see a - cough - little - cough - speck of dust on your cpu cooler... ;)

Thank you!

- Yup; i saw that too but i have to find out again how photobucket autresizes pictures.
- Yup, dust, the pc haz it. I havent cleaned it up because i want to install some lights. Then i have to remove my mobo + cpu out of the case and then i can clean it off.

Also, dust is a major problem of living outside (on a farm).

I have some big plans, but no time so. As you can see i have a huge wiremess at my HDD bay and my 4pin is running over the motherboard. Also i have a sleeved 6pin gpu power wire so. When i have more time i am going to sleeve my psu.
