Hi,
I recently purchased the PicoPSU 80 to power my Sapphire Pure White board. However, the P4 power cable is a few inches short as the PicoPSU faces the direction away from the P4 connector.

Is there a place online where I could order a longer version of this cable? I know I could always use an extension, but I thought that someone else might have run into the same problem.

There are extension cables available. Like this one:

I usually bypass the picoPSU and let the brick feed the 4pin connector directly. But that is only necessary when the power requirements are getting a bit high really, like if you use a discrete graphics card and a power hungry CPU.

How do you do that?Vicotnik wrote:

From the brick, Y-split to the picoPSU and the 4pin connector. The reason is to reduce the resistance; I had problems with a low 12v rail before doing this on a fairly powerful system a few years back. This also makes it possible to power quite a lot of stuff. i5-3570K and HD 7750 on a picoPSU 90W? No problem, the Dell DA-2 is a beast. 12V 18A.
