R5 define case - power LED too bright
Anyone figure out an elegant / easy way to dim the bright power LED. I have the PC in my bedroom and the flashing bright blue LED is annoying. Anyone have any ideas other than using a sharpie/ducktape/not use sleep feature? I imagine it could be unplugged from the mobo and not have any light at all?

Connecting a resistor in series with the LED will make it less bright.
I don't like light pollution in my single room apartment, so I usually don't connect any of the LEDs in my systems.

Had the same problem, so I replaced the LED with a white one and also sanded the acrylic which it shines through, so now it's almost perfecttwitch wrote:Anyone figure out an elegant / easy way to dim the bright power LED.
