Scythe Gentle Typhoon

I vaguely remember someone mentioning this fan here, but a search turned up nothing so here it is.
Scythe Gentle Typhoon, available in 9cm and 12cm models and within each, different RPM models.

What I've gathered from Japanese reviews
- very low power consumption (see site for specs)
- a bit slower than rated RPM
- desirable sound characteristic
- large hub
- pushes good air
- not so great at lower RPMs but 1000+ rpm is quiet
- hub doesn't get as hot as S-FLEX or SlipStream

I actually have a spare 9cm 1700rpm Gentle Typhoon if anyone has other reference 9cm fans around for comparison and wants to test it out (and post results) before (if?) it hits the US market. Haven't been able to do any of my own testing yet.

I wonder about the pressure of these things. The coverage of the blade suggest decent pressure. The design looks interesting as they have vortex notches like the noctuas.

They look pretty good.
Interesting desing.

But "Gentle Typhoon"
Sounds almost as stupid as "Silent Tornado"
